CBCT-reconstruction for non-isocentric trajectory

We investigate CBCT reconstruction methods for acquisitions of arbitrary regions inside the ImagingRing’s cylindrical imaging volume. Our research covers trajectory generation utilizing the possibility of independent rotations of the device’s source and detector arms. Furthermore, investigations comprise filtering methods for short-scan trajectories and large field-of-view trajectories to be applied in order to allow for standard inline reconstruction methods such as filtered backprojection. Moreover, the impact of geometric nine-degrees-of-freedom flexmap correction approaches for independent rotations of source and detector on reconstruction quality is analyzed.
